Course Description: This one-day course provides participants with the expertise to conduct thorough geotechnical site assessments using geophysical techniques. Participants will learn how to characterize subsurface conditions, optimize foundation design, and address geotechnical challenges using methods such as seismic refraction, electrical resistivity tomography, and ground-penetrating radar. The course concludes with a session on selecting the most appropriate geophysical tools for geotechnical site assessments and integrating geophysical data into engineering designs.
